About the garden:

Located in Woodland Park, in the City of Vancouver, the Woodland Community Garden initiative was established in 2012 by a group of community volunteers to provide gardening opportunities to urban residents. Woodland Park is situated in an area bounded by Woodland Drive, Frances Street, McLean Drive, and Adanac Street. The park is a lively community hub, with a playground and pool, regular Softball games, dog walkers, picnickers and myriad other park users. The garden hopes to provide the area with another anchor for social interaction and community.

Physical construction of the garden began in early June 2013. The basics are now complete with improvements ongoing.

If you wish to be added to the waiting list, email us at woodlandparkgarden@gmail.com. Note the list is about the same size as the number of current members! So only join the waiting list please if you plan to be around for several years.

About the Woodland Community Garden Club:

The Woodland Community Garden Club is an unincorporated community gardening club associated with Village Vancouver Transition Society, a non-profit society registered under the Society Act of British Columbia. The purpose of the club is to construct a community garden in Woodland Park, and to provide ongoing stewardship of the community garden once it has been established.

Can you please add me to the waiting list? Also if anyone wants someone to take over their plot for a year to have a rest that would be great.
